Addressing key school hygiene concerns
Safeguarding & unverified staff risk
Cleaners assigned to educational facilities are required to hold their own DBS checks (evidence provided on request), receive safeguarding training, and carry photo ID badges.
Disruption during school operational hours
All cleaning is scheduled strictly outside teaching hours — early morning before student arrival, evening post-dismissal, or weekend shifts.
Germ transmission in high-footfall environments
We use COSHH-approved, BS EN certified virucidal disinfectants targeting key touchpoints to help reduce pupil and teacher absenteeism.
Term-time scheduling vs holiday deep cleans
We offer flexible contracts combining daily term-time maintenance with intensive deep cleans during half-terms and summer holidays.

Christmas holiday and February half-term deep cleans
Term time limits how much intensive cleaning can happen while pupils are in the building. The school holidays are when it can. We plan holiday deep cleans around your term dates, with the scope agreed in writing in advance.
Christmas holiday deep cleans
The longer break leaves classrooms, halls, dining areas and washrooms empty, which makes it the best window for intensive cleaning ahead of the spring term. The checklist is agreed beforehand and the clean is documented with timestamped photo reports.
February half-term deep cleans
Half-term is a shorter window, so the work is planned tightly. We focus on the busiest areas, such as washrooms, dining areas, corridors and classrooms, so the school is ready when pupils return.
Scheduled around your term dates
Send us your term dates and we plan holiday cleans around them, alongside any regular term-time cleaning you already have. Sites are surveyed first, free of charge, so the proposal reflects the real building.
Vetted staff on site
Cleaners who work in schools hold their own DBS checks, and evidence is available on request, whether the building is full of pupils or quiet during a holiday.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your cleaning products and methods safe for nurseries, primary schools, and child-facing environments? ↓
Yes. We work strictly to COSHH and health-and-safety standards, using non-toxic, eco-friendly, BS EN certified virucidal disinfectants that balance high-level germ control with safe use around children and teachers.
Do school cleaners hold DBS checks and safeguarding training? ↓
Yes. Cleaners assigned to schools, academies, or nurseries are required to hold their own DBS checks and evidence can be provided on request. All operatives carry photo ID badges and follow safeguarding guidelines.
Can you provide deep cleans during school holidays and half-terms? ↓
Yes. Our school contracts combine daily term-time maintenance with scheduled intensive deep cleans during summer, Easter, Christmas, and half-term breaks.
How do you handle staff absences during term time to prevent missed cleans? ↓
Staff absence cover is part of the service. If your regular cleaner is off sick or on holiday, cover is arranged so the clean still happens.
Can you deep clean our school over the Christmas holidays? ↓
Yes. We plan Christmas holiday deep cleans around your term dates and agree the scope in writing, so classrooms, halls and washrooms are ready when pupils return in January.
Do you offer deep cleans during February half-term? ↓
Yes. Half-term is a shorter window, so we agree the scope and timing in advance and focus on the highest-use areas. Each clean is documented with timestamped photo reports.
